I like both of these pictures the most out of all of them my favorite one is the second one. While the first picture she appears to be smiling, the second one she almost looks timid to be, trying to hide be hind blades of grass as if saying "are you trying to photography me?!"I love the bright blurry grass closest to the camera and the sharper blades of grass right in front of her face. I believe that this perspective gives a more gentle view of Sugar and an almost inviting look in her eyes, whereas the first picture she (while appearing to smile) seems more alert like she could run at any second.
Oh my goodness! Sugar is absolutely adorable!! I really enjoy the first one - as you said, Sugar appears to be smiling. I do appreciate the lighting on the grass now that you pointed it out. It really gives the picture some depth!
