For part 1 of this weeks assignment, I struggled a bit as I did not fully understand the definitions of the lighting techniques. I did further research myself and Wikipedia was my source. Therefore, I chose to do monochrome and complementary photos.

  1. Many people confuse what the term monochrome means. It is very different than black and white, which is what you have above. Black is the absence of all light and white is the inclusion of all light. The root word of monochrome is "chroma" and refers to pure color.
