I struggled with this a bit at first as I could not get my other images to show on the background. Then I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was forgetting to add the alpha channel.
So for this first photo, I have included the three photos I combined below. The owl is resting on the front of the tractor and the horse is in the background.
Again, below I have included the pictures used to make my final photo. These ones are the bridge arch and a photo of lake with boats docked.

Great Job! I also had some struggling and have yet to get it down in Photoshop so I just may take a lil bit and go into the GIMP program and try that.. did you find it user friendly??
ReplyDeleteI have worked with Photoshop and now GIMP and I do find GIMP to be user friendly.
DeleteAwesome job. I like how you put the horse in the field like it was part of the picture. I also like the boat coming through the tunnel. It's like it could have been the original picture.
ReplyDeleteThese are really good. I need a lot of practice with GIMP and cannot wait until I can match the ones above.
ReplyDeleteAs I looked at your second picture (before reading what you wrote or scrolling down), I thought it must be one of your base pictures. I had no idea it was the modified photo until I actually read your comments. I think you combined the archway with the marina really, really well. I truly had no idea!
ReplyDeletethank you everyone!
ReplyDeleteI like your second picture the best. You did a nice job of combining the two pictures without making it look like they were photoshopped.
ReplyDeleteGreat work on these! You show that you are very comfortable with these tools by the quality of the work here. Keep playing with these tools....
